We enjoyed the comfort of our room and the clean and well functioning bathroom. The convenience of breakfast served at an early time helped us keep our schedule for sight-seeing.
The location required us walking through graffitti lined streets to get to the Metro some four long blocks from the hotel. We ate at one of two suggested restaurants within a safe walking distance from our hotel before it got dark. The other suggested restaurant required us taking the Metro back the center of town which meant our return would require us to walk darkened streets back from the Metro to the hotel after an already long day.
Nice room furnishings. Beautiful environment. Lift available. Walking distance from Roma Termini.
Being in the middle of the city, it is very noisy if you open the window. Minor utilities unavailable, such as jar/kettle, iron, minibar lacking the freezer.
The staff was very helpful and nice to us, always smiling and ready to provide information about the city, transport, sight-seeing tours, etc. I liked staying there very much.
Thin doors. If you have noisy residents in the next room, you will probably have problems sleeping during the night or be awaken either by the neighbors or by the staff trying to deal with them.
The hotel is amazing-its a family run hotel and you will get personal service and attention to details. My parents stayed there for 3 nights and said that service was impecable, rooms were clean and new and the family who owns the hotel is very friendly.Great price and amazing value for the money!
spacious room, cleanliness.most of the staff friendly
the breakfast was poor and the same every day.the visitors should be careful because there were a lot of homeless people around the station at night
I stayed for 3 nights at Hotel Caracciolo. The room 102 was very large and confortable and clean. The breakfast was very good and diverse. The hotel is next to termini station but also to Vitorio Emanuele. I prefered to go to Vitorio Emanuele station, it was much nicer.
Location and cleanliness
Toilet paper was missing from the room.
First of all, great staff! They were all very kind. They gladly gave us a lot of useful information about tourist attractions, transport, bus lines, etc. The rooms were very big, good taste furniture and decorations, very nice bathroom. They were quite new and the most important it was very clean. The sheets and towels were arranged/changed every day. The breakfast was good, though I'd loved some more meat. I recommend this hotel!
I would put the hotel's position to the downside list. Though it's about at 4 minutes of walk to the nearest Metro station and about 12 minutes to the main station in Rome, Termini. It's a little awkward to walk around after sunset in this notorious neighborhood. Anyway, we didn't have any problems at all.
I really appreciated the serviceminded staff and the fact that it was good value for money! Our room was nice and clean!
it's in the city center and clean
it's very noisy, our neighbours were very noisy, wasn't possible to sleep, there are some problems with hot water
Hotel staff really friendly, good value for money.
the location wasn't really great. I wouldn't like to walk around that area in the early hours of the day.
central location but not the neighborhood
breakfast , small and stinking bathroom , awful blocked small shower ,tv
close to the main train terminal and places of interest
The toilet was crampy and small, did not have enough room to have a good shower. Shower curtain was too long and would not let the water drain blocking the outlet. this caused flooding in the toilet every time i tried to have as shower (which almost flooded our bedroom since there is no water outlet inside the bathroom. The smell was also not nice inthe bedroom, i got a funny odor that i cannot put my finger on (was not bad though)
Although small, very clean and nice room. The hotel service was great - very pleasant and helpful
Brekfasts far to repetitious with small choise of foods - after a few days you just start having enough eating same and the same
the morning breakfast staff nice and friendly
i asked for blanket on three occassions, one gentleman shrugged his shoulders very unimpressed at the request finally looked in the cleanes cupboard, then he said dont know, maybe tomorrow, still waiting for the blankets three nights later, thanks for the cold myself and two others bow have
